Hey there, I'm Micah Sargent, and this is episode 0 of Hands-On AI, the show that turns AI confusion into AI confidence. And lately, one topic has taken over those questions more than any other: artificial intelligence. Of course. So what is it really? What can it actually do? And is it worth your time? Well, here's the thing. Most AI coverage falls into one of two camps. It either promises that AI is going to change absolutely everything by next Tuesday, or it warns that the robots are coming for us all.

On this show, we're doing neither because AI is exactly what it sounds like when you strip away the buzzwords. It's a tool. And like any tool, what matters is what you do with it. I use these tools every I use 'em to level up my smart home, use 'em to build websites and goofy little gadgets for my desk, even help fix my car. And I go ahead and push all of the buttons, including the wrong ones, so that you don't have to. That's what I'm here to do. So that's what Hands-On AI is all about. Short, focused episodes, most around 10 to 15 minutes, where we take one question, one tool, or one technique at a time.
